We are seeking an experienced Meal Preparation Specialist to join our growing prepared meal delivery company in Dallas. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for our diverse customer base while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily meal preparation according to established recipes and portion guidelines while maintaining consistency and quality standards
- Follow detailed production schedules to ensure timely completion of meal preparation tasks
- Properly handle, store, and rotate ingredients while adhering to food safety regulations and HACCP principles
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all sanitation procedures and health department requirements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal completion
- Package prepared meals according to company specifications and quality standards
- Assist in inventory management and communicate supply needs to kitchen management
- Document food production information and maintain accurate records
Required Qualifications:
- Current Food Handler’s Certification
- Knowledge of food safety principles and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to read and execute recipes accurately
- Knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work varying shifts, including early mornings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency

- ServSafe certification
- Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and tools
